Facebook has moved up 15 places to top this year’s edition of Fast Company’s 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World. Amazon and Apple took second and third place, respectively.

The survey recognizes creative models and progressive cultures – the many forms of innovation that exist across the business landscape – in addition to revenue growth and profit margins. 

Fast Company spotlights over 250 companies, including more than 75 non-U.S. businesses. The survey ranked the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in 24 different categories, including advertising and marketing, biotech, film and TV, media, music, and sports.
