MoviStar leads this year’s rankings of the most valuable Spanish brands, conducted by Interbrand for Actualidad Económica. BBVA and Telefónica occupy second and third place, respectively. The ranking does not include Santander or Zara, which are widely considered global brands.

In order to qualify for the rankings, the brands must be clearly Spanish in origin and their financial information must be publicly available. They must also be seen to generate added value to their company’s performance.
